Speaking of Axis and Allies, who else enjoys the grenade-launching, panzer-blasting game that is Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory? I somehow addicted a fair number of people into this game, one of which will scream and moan if someone tried to take him off while he was playing. If you're after an addictive game, go for this one.
The best things about it is its quality and its price. The graphics are wonderful for one thing and the cost: ?0, $0...I don't have the Euro symbol but it costs nothing in Euros either. A class MPO FPS (MultiPlayer Online First Person Shooter) that any WWII fans cannot do without.
Of course, it's nothing much like Axis & Allies, but at least the people in this game have real AI. Reason being those fighting beside you are people playing the game with you. Ah...but I've gone on for too long. Enjoy Axis & Allies and remember to enjoy RTCW: ET too.
