Basic Armor sets.
The basic armors are, White sage, Draco leather and Kaiser plate armors. These only provide moderate defense against monsters and players, and moderate damage boosts against monsters and players. This is definitely not PVP worthy armor.
How to obtain:
You can obtain these armors in the “GM-Shop” Caldin in the S grade section, they do not cost a lot, 1 adena to be specific that’s basically free.
When to use:
You should only use this armor when you are new, and did not get the chance to buy Omini yet.
Class specific:
I do not advice any class to use this armor if you can get something better.
Omini Armor sets.
Omini armors, the second set made in Zealfront. This provides above moderate defense against monsters and players, it also provides a above moderate damage boost against monsters and players. This is still not a PVP worthy armor, although its already better then the basic stuff.
How to obtain:
You can obtain Omini armors through 2 ways, the first way is to buy them from the Merchant Machine on Parnassus. The armor costs 100 bronze per piece. The second way is to kill monsters on Tower of Insolence floor 6, 7, 8 and 10. The armor parts are dropped randomly and often.
When to use:
You should be using this armor when you want to fight stronger monsters to obtain another set.
Class specific:
This armor set is still not advised for any specific class.
Psybar Armor sets.
Psybar armors are the third set made in Zealfront, for a long time it was the best armor available, until Bloodshed came and provided a counterpart. This armor has a above average defense against monsters and players, it provides a average damage boost, of course it is more than Omini. This is the first armor out of all 9 sets that’s worth to PVP with.
How to obtain:
To get Psybar armor you will need to collect psybars, a Psybar is made out of 6 psybar ores, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Dark and Light. You can obtain Fire and Water at Devastaded Castle, Earth and Wind at Tower of Insolence floor 11 and 13 and Dark and Light at Pagan Temple. They drop often and you should have no trouble collecting them. Once you have all materials go to Terry at Parnassus and exchange the ores for Psybars.
When to use:
You can use this armor when you want to collect more armors, the defensive capabilities are high on this armor therefore excellent if you want to last longer than normal.
Class specific:
All defensive type tanks should run around with this armor, if they prefer higher p.def over higher max HP, that could be in specific cases such as when you have a healer to heal you.
Bloodshed Armor sets.
Bloodshed armors are the counterpart of Psybar armors and the fourth armor created in Zealfront. This armor is also known as event armor since it requires Event Adena to obtain. The defensive capabilities of this armor is lower than that of Psybar but it is stronger on the offensive side. That means this armor will deal more damage than Psybar.
How to obtain:
This armor requires Event Adena, this is only rewarded to the winning team at TVT and in GM hosted events.
When to use:
You should use this armor if you wish to deal more damage in a shorter period of time however, more damage dealt also means more damage received since your defense is lower.
Class specific:
Dualists, dreadnoughts and offensive type tanks should go for this armor while they collect more materials for the other armors, nothing special to tell about this armor.
Hidden Ore Armor sets.
Hidden Ore armors are part of the trio that was added after Zealfront had been rebuild, each one of them has a part that’s exceedingly better than the other. The defensive capabilities are good but not as good as Psybar, this set has great physical/magical power so you will hit like a truck when equipped with hidden ore.
How to obtain:
To obtain Hidden Ore armor you will need to collect 20 Raw Sun ores and 20 Raw Moon ores. You can obtain these at the heart of Mythril mines by killing the protectors of dragons. Protectors of dragons live in a big group around the Raid bosses, be careful. You can find the NPC who can create the armor for you inside Parnassus.
When to use:
This armor is definitely effective for dealing much damage in an short period, however it does not increase max hp a lot.
Class specific:
This is the best set you can use as an archer, titan, tyrant or duelist.
Rain Squall Armor sets.
Rain Squall armor was the second armor in the trio that was added after Zealfront had been rebuild, this armor has also something at which it is exceedingly better than others. The defensive capabilities on this armor is so-so, however on the other hand it has the best casting speed of all robes available.
How to obtain:
If you want to obtain Rain Squall armor you got to collect 20 Tears of Eva and 20 Serpent Skins, these can be collected by killing the monsters around Parnassus. They are difficult to drop though but on the other hand, the monster are not that hard to kill. You can find the NPC who can create the armor for you inside Parnassus.
When to use:
This armor is useful if you need a high casting speed in general, even the heavy and light armor provide casting speed.
Class specific:
I would mainly advice mystics with low casting speed to use this armor to fix that weakness, these classes could be dominators, spell howlers and other mystics. I highly recommend healing classes to use this armor.
Lost Glory Armor sets.
Lost glory armor was the third armor that adds in the trio that was added after Zealfront had been rebuild. This armor is something else, it probably the best armor to get for defense, on the other hand having a good defense will not allow you to also have a good offensive side.
How to obtain:
To get Lost Glory armor you will need to collect 50 Twilight Shards and 20 Twilight Crystals, you can obtain these from the largest Rockscale Dragons that are located inside Mythril mines. They only spawn in one room and you will definitely see the difference between them and smaller ones, they look like Explodius, the raid on Tower of Insolence floor 5. You can find the NPC who can create the armor for you inside Parnassus.
When to use:
You should definitely use this armor when you want to last long. A good combo is to have a healer a tank and a damage dealer, the tank should get Lost Glory, the healer should get Rain Squall and the damage dealer should get Hidden Ore. The tank should agro anything, and because he is wearing Lost glory he will have heaps of health, therefore healing with % based heals will heal him the most while he will receive less damage.
Class specific:
Any defensive based tank should get this, at least as a spare armor. Other classes such as archers and mages can also do well in this set.
Rising Sun Armor sets.
Rising Sun armor is one of the 2 Next-Gen armors in Zealfront. This armor has the best stats all over. Although this armor is probably the best you can get, it is also the hardest armor to get and the most time consuming one. This one has a huge weakness to Holy based skills, and a huge defense against Dark based skills.
How to obtain:
To obtain a Rising Sun armor you will need a lot of materials, 100 Gold, 100 Psybar, 30 Raw Dragite, 600000 Noblesse Gate Passes, and a Psybar armor set of your choice.
When to use:
You should use this set when you have it, be careful of the weakness though, especially in Olympiad.
Class specific:
Any class will be great with this armor.
Moon Fall Armor sets.
Moon Fall armor is the second and last of the Next-Gen armors in Zealfront. This armor is practically the same as Rising Sun except that it has a huge weakness to Dark based skills and a huge defense against Holy based skills.
How to obtain:
Obtaining Moon Fall armor will require the same materials as Rising Sun. ” 100 Gold, 100 Psybar, 30 Raw Dragite, 600000 Noblesse Gate Passes, and a Psybar armor set of your choice”
When to use:
You should use this set when you have it, be careful of the weakness though, especially in Olympiad.
Class specific:
Any class will be great with this armor.
Omini Weapon Group.
The basic weapons after normal S Grade made in Zealfront, they have better stats than regular S grade weapons, but they are still the bases of the weapons in Zealfront.
How to obtain:
You can obtain Omini armors through 2 ways, the first way is to buy them from the Merchant Machine on Parnassus. Each weapon costs 80 bronze. The second way is to kill monsters on Tower of Insolence floor 1. The weapons are dropped randomly and you can obtain any of all 12 of them. You can also exchange them for Bronze in the Merchant Machine on Parnassus.
When to use:
Since these are the so called “low grade weapons” you will want to use this weapons when you want to fight mobs to get a better one.
Psybar Weapon Group.
Psybar Weapons are the second set of weapons made in Zealfront. These are the standard weapons and the ones that you will want to obtain right after Omini. They are also necessary to obtain an Ultimate Weapon.
How to obtain:
To get Psybar weapons you will need to collect psybars, a Psybar is made out of 6 psybar ores, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Dark and Light. You can obtain Fire and Water at Devastated Castle, Earth and Wind at Tower of Insolence floor 11 and 13 and Dark and Light at Pagan Temple. They drop often and you should have no trouble collecting them. Once you have all materials go to Terry at Parnassus and exchange the ores for Psybars. Each weapon costs 1 Psybar.
When to use:
Since these are the so called “medium grade weapons” you will want to use this weapons when you want to fight mobs to get a better one, or for PvP as well.
Bloodshed Weapon Group.
Bloodshed weapons are the counterpart of Psybar weapons and the third weapon created in Zealfront. These weapons are also known as event weapons since they require Event Adena in order to be obtained. The stats are slightly better than the Psybar weapons.
How to obtain:
This armor requires Event Adena, this is only rewarded to the winning team at TVT, in GM hosted events and from killing Certain Raid Bosses in Hellbound.
When to use:
Since these are the so called “High grade weapons” you will want to use this weapons when you want to fight mobs to get a better one, or for PvP as well.
Ultimate Weapon Group.
Ultimate weapons are the best weapons available for those players that haven’t participated in Olympiad yet. They can also be upgraded up to level 5, which will increase the weapon’s stats and the player overall.
How to obtain:
To obtain an ultimate weapon you will first need to have a Psybar weapon, the items you need to gather other than the psybar weapons are,15 Psybar, 60 Raw Mythrill, 30 Raw Adamantite, 5 Raw Purite, 50 Event Adena and 350 Silver. Ores can be obtained from the mobs in Mythril Mines, they all have a chance to drop any of the different ores, they also drop Silver and Bronze, you can exchange bronze for silver at the Merchant Machine. When you finally collected all items you can exchange them for a Ultimate weapon at Splash in Parnassus.
Ultimate weapons can be leveled up up to level 5, leveling one up requires large amounts of Gold, Event Adena, Raw Pureite, Raw Legition and Raw Dragite.
When to use:
Since these are the so called “top grade weapons” you will want to use this weapons when you want to pvp and to farm with higher level mobs in order to level your weapon up.
Ultima Weapon Group.
These are the TOP grade - Next-Gen weapons to be obtained, can only be obtained by those players that have won enough matches in Olympiad and gathered the necessary amount of nobles gate passes.
How to obtain:
To obtain an Ultima Weapon, also known as a Level Max weapon you will need, first of all a Level 5 weapon is required, also 100 Gold and 200000 noblesse gate passes. Once you gathered those items you will have to talk to the “Noble Pass Trader” NPC in Parnassus, next to the Monument of Heroes.
When to use:
Since these are the so called “Next-Gen weapons” you will want to use these weapons for anything that you may want to do in game.
Lesser Psybar Jewels.
These jewels are the more basic ones you can obtain in Zealfront, they still require some patience to get.
How to obtain:
To obtain these jewels you will need to kill monsters in the Mythil mines, those will drop Raw Mythil ores and Raw Adamantite ores. Once you have obtained enough you should return to Mytel in parnassus, he can exchange your Raw ores for jewels.
Greater Psybar Jewels.
Greater Psybar jewels are a step higher in quality then the Lesser Psybar Jewels, you can only get these after you got the Lesser ones.
How to obtain:
These jewels will require the same amount of work as the Lesser Psybar kind, but this time you are also required to have the Lesser Psybar versions as a ingredient. You can upgrade the Lesser Psybar jewels at the same NPC in parnassus.
Lesser Ultimate Jewels.
The Lesser Ultimate jewels are better than the Greater Psybar kind, however they are in a different catagory, this allows you to combine the effects.
How to obtain:
All lesser Ultimate jewels are dropped by the Raidbosses on Hellbound Island, they are not 100% dropped though.
Greater Ultimate Jewels.
The best jewels available, Greater Ultimate jewels. You will not find anything more protective then these jewels, it will take you a long time to obtain them but its worth it.
How to obtain:
Obtaining these jewels will require 1 Greater Psybar jewel and 1 Lesser Ultimate jewel, they have to be the same kind.(ring/earring/necklace, Life/Death/Chaos). then you will need to find the trader inside Hellbound Islands base, he can upgrade them for you.
