The Servers goal is provide a fair and stable environment for the player.
The Staff is active and works hard to make the Server worthwhile. Despite it being a PvP Server we do not serve everything on a silver pattern, as that would beat the games purpose. You want to be top notch, then work for it and roll with a clan or alone.
Features:
Edited Monster: Raid Bosses have been edited, they're challenging. In return each raid jewel has it's stats boosted to make them useful and worth raiding for.
Custom Areas: We've modified Paagan's Temple and Cave of Trials. They're customized high level PvP gather spots as well as farming spots for items you will need. The monsters are customized, new stats and names. They're not too tough, but yet challenging.
NPC Buffer: Each newbie starter place, as well as every town has our custom NPC buffer. This little fellow provides you with free buffs up until level 40 and will help you get a jumpstart into the game. The buffs, however, are not top notch and in order to be a worthy fighter you will have to find a clan with real buffer and/or level your own once you managed your way into the community.
Customized Items: Raid jewels have been boosted, due to raids being challenging. Also, we have boosted Dynasty weapons. +16 Dynasty weapon are equal to +25 S grades. We also do use Tattoo's back from C4, however, they too are modified so they fit into the game.
Customized game systems:
PvP <-> Gold Coin system: Gold Coins will lead you to wealth and advanced gear. Everytime you PvP, the kills are recorded into our system and PvP points can be traded in for items at Bonze. 2 PvP's can be traded for 1 Gold Coin. Gold Coins are needed to buy hats, wings, or to SA Weapons or buy other useful things.
Weapon enhancement system: Whenever you gain 50 and 150 kills with a weapon you get an offer of a customized bonus for that weapon which you may accept or decline. If it's being accepted it's permanently bound to the weapon, without any chance of removal. If the offer is declined it switches back to 0 kills and you must get another 50 PvPs to get a new offer. This way we can ensure longterm PvP fun as you discover the different bonuses available to you.
Weapon auto enchant system: Our safe enchant level on weapons is +6. To be more newbie friendly a weapon gets +1 enchant every 50th kill up to +16. After +16 you will no longer gain +1 save enchant for every 50th kill.
Noblesse: Noblesse has either to be quested (Barakiel Spawns every two hours) or to be bought with PvP / PK points.
Godlike System: The more people you kill, the higher your rank and reward will go. If you gain 24 continuous kills you claim the title of being "Godlike". Each time your spree raises your reward buff increases. The buffs goes up to level 12 and gives 1% p/m def/atk per level. On top of that there is a bounty on your head. If you are killed you will gain an adena award, as well as your murderer for stopping your spree.
FFA Event: The FFA Event was exclusive developed for Heaven's Wail.
To avoid cheating (teaming for that matter) all participants get transformed into Monsters to fight as on the battlefield. Your name will also be changed, and will continually change each time you die and respawn. Furthermore, you will not be able to understand anyone elses speech, as that too has been changed to keep anonymity. Of course you can look forward to useful items and adena as your reward in the event.
Custom Skills: Skills have been edited. We are trying hard to balance out the skills and prevent 2 hits kills or whatever nonsense you may find on other servers. We have implemented custom buffs and removed certain skills, as well as adjusted their effects such as: re-use time, cast time, or duration.
Class Boosts: In order to make "useless" classes useful (Sword Singer, Blade Dancer, Dwarves) we have added custom skills to integrate them successfully into PvP and our servers gameplay.
We are steadily working on improving existing features as well as creating new ones. We have worked and continue to work on new zones, items, and npcs already and and make it our goal to make sure no exploiter or cheater can abuse this server. The listed features are not exploitable, if you try to do so you will get caught and suffer the consequence(s). We have a new fresh team of GMs that enjoy their work and are passionate and dedicated to our cause. You can expect the GMs to be working close with community for we values the players suggestions and ideas. However ultimately the decision to have the ideas implemented into the server is up to the staff. We have zero tolerance towards corruption and have a watchful eye on our GMs. Heavy missteps result in instant removal from the team and the damage will be undone in a matter of minutes. For the players that are involved, they too, can expect immediate removal from our server.
