Server IntroductionHey everybody As most of you know Dungeon Sea Online is a long time running Tales of Pirates private server, over a year ago it was owned by Eli GiGi and had over 400 active players But sadly the previous owner scammed all the staff into doing work for the server for nothing, in 2010 the server was then sold to William Botsford which is a much better owner managing the player support and staff in a very admirable way. Sean (Vision) works on the programmatical work of the game and website along with managing out dedicated server and database, Gin is our player support manager, he will assist all players with any problems they may have ingame and if they are technical related the problem will be reported back to Sean for repair.Nowadays the server is under continuous development to ensure all players have the best experience of a Tales of Pirates server as we possibly can provide One main aim of Dungeon Sea Online is to ensure we do not create a strong barrier between free to play players and those who choose to purchase additional items from our mall, so for most the items we also have them ingame giving them the opportunity to work hard for them if they wish to do soDungeon Sea Online is a 24/7 private server ran on a dedicated server, we have support from Ultimate Pay who provide us with management of our Mall Points system.Server StatisticsWe have around 70 - 120 players online at once in the server throughout the day and night as the server has players from worldwide locations. We usually host weekly events too, to keep active players interested in becoming the best along with giving player a whole new aim each week with the variety of the events, however the weekly events are skipped if we are working on a large update as we only have one programmer at the moment. The lower map allows entry of any players under level 74 whereas the higher map only allows entry of players above level 75.When there is more than 5 players in the map nothing with summon and the players can fight each other as normal.. But when there is less than 5 players in the map for 15 minutes some monsters and chests will summon, when this happens an announcement will automatically notify the players via the system channel so keep a look out for them [Level 74 and lower]The lower level Forbidden Kingdom portal is located at 2226, 2901 in Argent City near the PvP Bar All players which are lower than level 74 will be able to enter, allowing a more fair and fun PvP experience, along with lower level players having a chance to defend the Kingdom from the Black Dragon Army. [Level 75 and higher] The higher level Forbidden Kingdom portal is located at 2234, 2901 in Argent City near the PvP Bar. All players which are higher than level 75 will be able to enter, allowing a more fair and fun PvP experience. This is to keep the high level players from stopping the lower level players from entering, but also giving them a battle of their own.Death Circle Map[/B[B]Dungeon Sea Online has the official Death Circle map [With permissions from Matt] the objective is to hold the flag as long as possible, this can be done by finding the current flag holder and defeating them for the flag, but once you have it everyone will know and they will want you dead So defend yourself and good luckUpcoming UpdatesNew MapWe currently have a new map in development, this map will feature several bosses and stages, the players will wait on a island inside the map and they will wait for everyone to join. Once the join limit is reached the portal will be closed to new players and the current players within the map will be able to go through the different stages to complete it. If the map is completed without all the players being defeated then everyone will be rewarded with a prize, even if they died earlier and did not make it to the end This is because all players have helped them make it to the finish, however players which disconnect will be void from receiving the prize. [Map Coming September 2011]Guild WarsGuild wars is very close to being added to DSO, we have all the files prepared and have the map almost ready, look out for it being added to the gameSecond and Third rebirthThe second and third rebirth are both ready to be released but the only thing we have left to do is the quest, we decided that we didn039t want to release it into the mall until the quest is done to give the free to play players an opportunity to complete the rebirth the same time as the malling players.
